Paint & Munch is an alternative to a typical night out, offering a creative way for people to eat, paint and socialize with others in the comfort of their favorite local business, bar or restaurant.
While participants mingle with old friends and make new ones, our artist, Audrey provides step-by-step instructions, allowing attendees to turn a blank canvas into a final piece of personalized art in about two hours.
“This area has so many talented artists and an amazing country scene, the ideal combination for great Paint & Munch events,” co-founder Jennifer Hartnett Serenity said. “Paint & Munch offers a creative way to have a few laughs with friends or meet some new ones in a laid back atmosphere — you don’t need to have any artistic ability, you just need to be open to having fun!”
Paint & Munch traveling business model means more classes in a variety of businesses, bars and restaurants and is designed to suit every need. They can even host a home, office or a special occasion Paint & Munch party at the location of your choice.
Seats are limited and purchased in advance. Each ticket includes a 16-by-20 inch canvas, paints, brushes, a smock and instructions. If desired, drinks and food to accompany the painting experience are purchased directly from the hosting bar or restaurant. Paint & Munch is led by Audrey D’Angelo who moved to Hidden Valley Lake in August 2018. “I love it here,” Audrey says. “It is such a beautiful place for so many reasons, I can’t help but to be inspired to create just by looking outside.”

Possibly inspiring others with similar experience, Audrey says she has always had a creative side, listing a number of hobbies including drawing, painting, photography and gardening. Paint & Munch gives her, and others, the opportunity to give time to the “right side’ of the brain.
“Paint & Munch is a win-win-win for the local artist, the participants and host,” Hartnett says. “While people are painting and having fun socializing with friends, the businesses, bars and restaurants drive traffic in on a traditionally slower night and it introduces a whole new group of potential customers to their establishment.”
